Environmental Learning Day

Valleys River Trust, Keep Wales Tidy and Welcome to our Woods provided a group activity at the bomb which included animal and plant identification. The activity also included a craft session making grass weaving.

Up-Cycle Bicycle Maintenance 

During February half term Up-Cycle Bicycle Maintenance were invited over to Cambrian Village Trust where they completed several full bicycle services ready for Cambrian to lead bicycle rides during the summer months.

Litter pick Keep Wales tidy 

As part of YRP becoming a Keep Wales Tidy “Hub”, local residents had been invited to our first community litter pick at Lady Windsor Taffs Trail. Apart from the weather was well attended. 

Bush Craft Activities Dare Valley County park

A group of 10 year old's from project youth visited Dare Valley park to take part in some outdoor learning. Some of the activities included having to safely build and start a camp fire this they then roasted marshmallows, built water proof dens and generally enjoying being outdoors.

What a brilliant evening at youth club! We had the wonderful duo from A&S Animal encounters bring some furry and some scaly friends for the kids learn about Lots of “Awe’s” and “Wow!” Which is what it’s all about Side note: who knew you brown skunks exist? The little cutie pictured is only 6 months old.
