GREEN CONNECTIONS
An environmental project that aimed to promote, raise awareness and appreciation of the bio-diverse environments around us.
About
Green Connections provided many opportunities to get involved with the outdoors. Using the green spaces around Ynysybwl and the forestry we can learnt about nature, gained bush craft skills and used natural materials for craft projects. During Covid-19 we tried to bring the outdoors indoors through organised environmental activity packs.
While having fun we can found out more about our environment and how we can look after our countryside.
Activities took place throughout the year for all ages and abilities.
This project was funded through the Rural Development Programme - Welsh Government.
